On Tuesday, August 25, 2009, Shark Meat Records released "Celebrity du Jour", the first single and music video from Darren Ockert's upcoming album "Modern Day Living."  The new track, written, performed and produced by Darren Ockert features guitars by Dan Warner (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk) and was mixed by J. Chris Griffin (Janet Jackson, Kanye West, Missy Elliot).

The track and music video are available on digital music stores and online music services including iTunes, Amazon MP3, YouTube, Spotify and others worldwide.  The music video is the first project that Shark Meat Records has completed with directors Edouard Nammour and Susan DePalma and we look forward to more in the future.

Kicknote is a new tool/service for music artists to link together all of their online information.  The Kicknote Frame makes it easier for for fans to browse across websites by placing a navigation bar featuring logos of all the major music sites including Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia, iLike, Last.fm, YouTube and more.   Also, the Kicknote website is a one-stop launch pad for fans to start exporing the artist's online world.
